South East Chicago Commission and Special Service Area 61 are seeking professional auditor services from qualified vendors to perform accounting services. We request one proposal with separate quotes for SECC and SSA 61.
Scope of Services to be Provided
- Audits are to be conducted in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) that includes the following documents:
- Statement of Net Positions;
- Statement of Activities, and
- Changes in Fund Balances.
- Statement of Revenues and Expenditures: Budget and Actual Comparisons (period being audited compared to the previous year).
- Notes to the Financial Statements.
- Reconciliation of the Statement of Net Position.
- Reconciliation in Funds Balance to Statement of Activities.
- Summary Schedule of Findings.
- General expectations will be to have completed audit-ready for presentation within 30 days or less of days of the agreed-upon completion date.
- Respondent will be available to present the final Audit report and findings to the Agency’s governing body.
Final selection will be made based on the above criteria and proposed fee. Preference will be given to firms located within the City of Chicago. MBE/WBE firms are strongly encouraged to apply.
