Summer Season

The South East Chicago Commission and Special Service Area #61 proudly present the Hyde Park Farmers Market, thanks to the partnership of Hyde Park Bank.  The new market reveals an entirely fresh look with all new logistics, giving residents and visitors a chance to shop on the weekends and experience an infusion of healthy food, lifestyles, arts and culture.

Shoppers will find fresh produce from local Illinois farms, freshly baked breads and desserts, beautiful plants, packaged foods, personal beauty supplies, and traditional farmers market fare. Several market vendors accept Mastercard and Visa, LinkUp and SNAP payments in addition to cash.

The market is in compliance with City of Chicago and State of Illinois pandemic protocols to provide a comfortable and safe shopping experience.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market:

The Market began with the grand opening on Sunday, June 1 and the season continues through Sunday, September 28, 2025

Local Vendors

The HPFM team is currently seeking new vendors for the 2025 market season! The Hyde Park Farmer’s Market has a fresh new vibe giving visitors a chance to shop on the weekends and experience an infusion of healthy food, lifestyles, arts and culture. The market is a curated experience that is a valuable addition to the community and local small business owners. 

The market is set to be a curated experience that is truly valuable addition to the community and area business owners.  Brick and mortar businesses located in the SSA #61 footprint, previous vendors and brand new vendors are all encouraged to apply as pop up vendors once the season begins!

  • Vendors may choose from full season or month-to-month reservations. 
  • The weekly vendor fee is $40.00 /week for vendors who wish to book monthly in the season, $50.00 for pop-up vendors who wish to vend one Sunday a month, and the full summer rate is $720.00 to secure your slot for the entire summer season.
  • A 10% discount is available for prepaid, full season that is paid by 5/4/2025.
  • Spaces are limited and vendors variety and product diversity are prioritized for this year’s market experience.

LINK and SNAP Match

In addition to the local products and vendors, the Market will introduce new pop up vendors, musical performances, children’s activities, local organizations, and healthy engagements.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market accepts cash, credit and debit cards, and has also partnered with the Link Up Illinois and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) program to offer additional payment options and access. The Hyde Park Farmers Market joins the Link Up Illinois statewide network to provide incentives to SNAP shoppers. A program of Experimental Station, Link Up Illinois’ mission is to increase the affordability and accessibility of fresh foods by matching the value of Link or SNAP purchases up to $25.00 per transaction across Illinois while making healthy food more affordable for SNAP recipients.

South East Chicago Commission and Special Service Area #61 invite you to join us for The HPFM Holiday Makers Market to support local small business vendors.

Chicago’s Hyde Park Farmers Market (HPFM) will host two days of shopping at The Promontory (5311 S Lake Park Ave W), offering a festive indoor experience from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Shop locally this season and explore a range of unique holiday gifts, including fresh-baked goods, original art, jewelry, wellness products, holiday stationery, and custom gift baskets—perfect for seasonal shopping.

The HPFM Holiday Makers Market will also feature raffles and special performances at each market day, adding an extra layer of excitement to the holiday shopping experience. Raffles are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. Must be present to win.
