You are invited to join the South East Chicago Commission on Thursday, April 16, for “A Night at the Theatre,” an evening of fun, fundraising, and a fantastic theatrical showcase! Our favorite night of the year supports community impact programming, like the Shirley J. Newsome Beautification Program.
After the community reception, we will attend Court Theatre’s performance of Out Here, a courageous new musical, developed through a dynamic collaboration between Court Theatre and the Neubauer Collegium at the University of Chicago. Audiences will have the rare opportunity to be amongst the first to experience this fresh and intimate look at a family reconfiguring itself.
